I made an experiment: one tree, kept alive by the whole internet. Tap to water it. Your can refills slowly, so no one can sustain it alone — it needs strangers. Neglected long enough, it dies permanently: gravestone, a story ("Gen 3, lived 26 days, kept by 412 strangers"), then a new sapling. No accounts, no ads, no realtime — just traces of the people before you.
